@john Ughhh I am trying to give roundabouts a fair shake but we have such bad ones here. I think they're bad enough that we call them "rotaries" as some distinct thing? Somebody actually flagged Grant Circle as "dangerous" on wikipedia

Folks here do not understand when to yield and when to go.
@annika I know I screwed up in the first roundabout I encountered. I don't remember even discussing them in driver's training, much less using one. It makes sense that nobody knows how to use them. I also have no idea what a good example of a roundabout is.
