@some_qualia @[email protected] even more than that, the characters being told that they are not special snowflakes in Fight Club are the exact people who use the term to block empathy now, cis straight white men who were told that their destiny was heroism and have been left alienated from themselves and society, and turn around to blame women and people of colour for those feelings.
