James Snow@some_qualia I really think you get a lot of insight into people based on whether or not they think Kylo is beyond or deserves redemption or not
@Frumple_James Redemption is a weird question to me because it's pretty uniquely Christian as a concept (the way we talk about it) AND is, by that cultural heritage *never* deserved.
@Frumple_James Redemption is sort of a thing bought by blood, and often *someone else's* blood if the character lives.
As for whether he'll be redeemed or not, uh, it's Star Wars. I think this is the wrong series if we want people who cannot be redeemed ever.
@some_qualia Oh, yeah, but there are people who are quite vicious in their insistence that Rey should kill Kylo (even in cold blood) which I think is a remarkable misreading of Rey, Kylo and Star Wars as a whole xD

@Frumple_James Like... this is a fluffy series where good triumphs over evil (even in internal struggles).
