I had a severe anxiety attack, cancelled my Xbox Live account (effectively removing me from Sea of Thieves where 8+ of my friends hang out), and deactivated my Twitch account because this user and his friends groomed us into an alliance in order to kill us at the end of a PVE and promote his stream.
"Alliances were broke."
Nothing like a partnered Twitch psychopath to turn me off of any multiplayer game that forces you to deal with the public
Did I mention that after the user killed us, he went to our livestreams to rebroadcast our reactions to his being a perfect shitdick.
griefing in videogames never has, and never will take into account the possibility of mental illness and/or triggering it
I don't want likes or faves on my shit I want someone to figure out how to deal with psychopathic gamers who send me and people like me down a mental/emotional spiral okay

@CrillFactor Sorry this happened to you. Playing games with strangers is often the worst. And I’m sure this person doesn’t even know or care what kind of hurt their behavior has caused. The only way I can think to deal with it is to show them, but that’s a hell of a thing to ask anyone to do.

This probably wasn’t helpful. Sorry.

@KingNewbs it's ok streamers who think this is coo and normal and broadcast my reaction to 8000 followers seem to be a good enough reason to abandon a platform
@KingNewbs yeah "show them" is a task that requires a lot more skill, insight and creativity than I have and I wouldn't even know where to start, also it requires an assumption of empathy on everyone's part that I refuse to assume from someone whose entire goal was to be able to say "bruh you should check out my stream they're rolling right now"
@CrillFactor Yeah it would be difficult to trust someone like that to not get defensive. Hope your day goes better today. :)
