Good evening! I’m happy to have found this Instance. Time for #introductions:

I’m Jenna. I’m a writer. I’m currently in flux as to what that means as my life has changed a lot in the past few years.

I spent 10 years editing for some large online media sites before taking a step back to reevaluate some things. I’m just now, four years later, working on getting back in the writing game. I’m anxious about it (GAD!) but ready for this next step.

@everythingafter I know that anxiety well - I only started writing again a couple of years ago after burning out and taking a three-year break. Writerly friends have been an absolute lifesaver!

@everythingafter Hi Jenna, welcome! #writing might help you find writers on other instances. One hint though: Many folks here appreciate content warnings. Do struggle with this myself, often not sure whether a CW is required and how to word it, but mentioning GAD might qualify.
