Reading about Mastodon governance issues I think to myself, I'm not an experienced dev by any measure, and haven't worked with others a lot, but it seems obvious the only good way to do federated open software is with radical democracy & community governance, with listening and ego-dropping. Is #Pleroma better? I'm new enough I could switch with little effort. Interested in getting involved eventually, maybe.
@adam There was a big kerfuffle a while back and a few people were making a fork but it's kinda fizzled out AFAICT. Relevant hashtags were #forkoff, #forkofftogether, #forktogether
