@yungneocon I mean, I know that the Empire fell very fast after the Anglo-American Loan forced Sterling convertibility, and that stuffiness didn't stop them from pulling a last minute genocide in Bengal, but it's still funny to pull "British civility caused everything to fail." (The truth being more like "civility doesn't help human rights.")
