A new week, a new #MintageMonday!
I owned 7 Wonders and 7 Wonders Duel for a long time, and absolutely love these @BrokenToken bespoke coins. Eventually, our group tired of the games, but I kept the coins.
But now what would I do with such specifically-themed currency?
The first game they found a home in was Spirit Island. I noticed the 1's and 3's were a great thematic match for the Energy Markers, and they're a fantastic addition.
But we had two games' worth of 7 Wonders coins. Spirit Island only needed about 1/3 of them (and basically none of the "6"-value coins) so where else could they go?
They sat around for a long time...
...right up until we picked up Queendomino!
Yeah, the top value coins in Queendomino are 9's, not 6's, but I'm not too worried about that. They're the right size and values, and they're enough of a thematic match to be a great upgrade for Queendomino.
So, if you're like us and have some 7 Wonders coins laying around in need of a game, here are two suggestions for homes!
