@NYbill it's the plugins I think :) you probably should install 11.1 and wait till september/october when 11.2 is released

@theru yea, you might be right. I went to put in the Plex server on it and it just spun and spun. Now what ever this boot issue is. I'll ha e to drag that monitor back out...
I'll probably rebuild it with the last version like you say.
@NYbill the plugin (jail) is FreeBSD 11.2 but freeNAS is only FreeBSD 11.1. I think there is a solution to it https://youtu.be/0Vq9Rl0PPOg

@theru Just plugged a monitor into the FreeNAS box in the basement. The problem was, on reboot, it couldn't find the thumb-drive. It complained the first hard drive was a data disk and halted.
Yes, this is how we party on a Friday night!
@NYbill luckily you can just reinstall and it will pick up the drives - but if you install freenas 11.1 it's probably best to format - newer zfs on 11.2

@theru Done. 11.1 installed. Share set up and accessed.
I deleted the old share and made a new one on 11.1. I think that reformatted.
Now, the plex plug in... this is where it borked on 11.2.
@NYbill should work on 11.1 :) even if it looks like there are a lot more plugins coming on 11.2
