Steve Jobs Foretold the Downfall of Apple!

YouTube
@nem0nic speaks to my point about marketing. I'm not sure which downfall he is referring to though. The time when they did nearly crash and burn, they were nowhere close to a position of monopoly. They are now in a position of monopoly in certain areas (profitability for example) but there are still product people at the helm.
@damien @nem0nic The uploader is talking about the perceived current trend of Apple products worsening.
@astromech @nem0nic perceived is the keyword here. They are nowhere near a downfall in the current state of things.
@damien @astromech I can't see how you can look at the modern DJ product industry and say that. There has been a TON of "downfall". A lot of companies that used to thrive and stimulate competition are gone. The category has been stagnant for ages. Key innovators have left the industry for other categories. The existing companies have become silos within the overall market and no one wants to work with anyone else. Personally, it's shittier than I've ever seen it.
@nem0nic @astromech I'm talking about Apple. The point of the OP on the video is that it explains Apple's current downfall. I'm not seeing a downfall in no shape or form there.
@damien @astromech Jobs was talking about the Sculley era at Apple. The "monopoly" position they had was with the Apple 2 (this video was shot in 1995). But agreed, I think Apple is doing just fine.
@nem0nic @damien The monopoly mentioned in the video was IBM/Xerox.
@astromech @nem0nic the one I mentionned is the one the poster of the video seemed to imply.
