Hosting a wine tasting revealed an interesting dynamic - attendees valued having their own opinions validated more than being "right" about the wines. Especially the younger ones (>25yrs!) were worried being wrong. It was the first time I organised one myself and it was a lot of fun. Educational more about people than wine, funnily enough.
