I like his political and figurative work best. I recently saw a screenprint of his called “Little Green Apple in the Summer Time, 1969” of a nude woman on a motorcycle that echos biker magazines of the time and may be antecedent to some Richard Prince and Arthur Jafa pictures. Idfk. I didn’t really get the later colorful line stuff until I decided to look at them as though they were 3D, fences or something.
