Speaking of the #Evangelical Movement in England. Here is a list of things accomplished by a bunch of bible-believing, Bible-thumpers at the turn of the prior century. Authentic evangelism, launching of missionary boats, **AND** all kinds of social justice reforms.
Where they be today?
David Gregg, Presbyterian minister in NYC, makes an apologetic argument. He says that Christianity undid the brutality of the coliseum. He says Christianity’s divine power is shown in that it has abolished, mitigated the horrors of war over centuries.
Could unlookers still see this in Christian witness today? Where is the true if imperfect and unfinished, fingerprint of the Prince of Peace?
