Do podobnej sytuacji, niestety bez sukcesu, doszło 18 kwietnia w miejscowości Blue Mounds (w stanie Wisconsin w USA), gdzie setki aktywistów (wg niektórych źródeł nawet 1000) próbowało dostać się na teren ośrodka hodowli i badań na psach rasy beagle Ridglan Farms. Znajduje się tam ok. 2000 psów uwięzionych w magazynach bez okien, bez dostępu do światła dziennego i do wychodzenia na zewnątrz. Interwencja policji zakończyła się użyciem gumowych kul i gazu pieprzowego. Został także zatrzymany lider protestu Wayne Hsiung z Coalition to Save the Ridglan Dogs.

Jak pisze serwis Deon24: "W marcu aktywiści zdołali włamać się na teren Ridglan Farms i wyprowadzić 30 psów. Wówczas zatrzymano 27 osób, którym postawiono zarzuty naruszenia porządku oraz inne przestępstwa".

The Open Rescue Experience - Registration Form | NYC January 2023

Space is limited. Registration is required for attendance! The event will be in-person on Saturday, January 28 from 10am in Manhattan. You will receive an email with the location after we review your registration. Registrations will be reviewed on a "first come, first serve" basis, and we will give special priority to individuals who plan to make commitments to the movement for open rescue (including with direct frontlines work, legal support, communications, and community building).
