Evening all!
Finally finished Midnight’s story campaign and unlocked all of the endgame content, and I have… Opinions.
I was also very worried about Voidstorm being a rerun of The Maw from Shadowlands - a depressing experience at a cultural low-point. Luckily, that turned out not to be the case.
I definitely wish that the story was deeper than a paddling pool though. Voidstorm felt very rushed.

Managed to get to 90 without even finishing Zul’Aman.
“finally, I can get started on level cap content”
Nope. It’s all gated behind finishing the main story.
Prey system? Gated
Level 4 and up delves? Gated
Heroics? Gated
Considering that I (like many people) didn’t even finish the War Within campaign, this is such a terrible idea.

Been playing more #WarcraftMidnight - got to the giddy heights of level 88 after only a little questing in Zul’Aman!
That said, we’ve done:
- Arator questline
- every available quest in Silvermoon and Eversong
- Pushed professions up to 50.
That’s a lot of additional XP beyond the main campaign.
I’m really enjoying sloooow and gradual levelling in #WarcraftMidnight.
My wife and I have been playing the xpac for a few hours a night since Saturday. We’re already 84 and are still in the first zone!
At this rate we’ll hit 90 long before we finish the storyline.
After a week of intense activity, I've managed to get a warband of characters up to Level 80.
For the start of Midnight, I'll mainly be focusing on my mage (Shaemus), but I'll probably get Molior (Paladin) and Mendelev (Priest) leveled through LFG.
Guido the Warlock is a fourth choice, but it'll be useful to have on-hand if needed.
