My new sofa cushion from a repurposed cushion from an outdoor armchair, and vintage textiles, all from charity shops, is finished.

Christmas is over. New (to me) curtains in both the kitchen and the living room are up, table cloths changed etc.
The kitchen curtains was one, very long, hand embroidered curtain in unbleached cotton. Probably Indian make, from the 1979s or 80s.
I cut it into two pieces, and folded down the top on the longer one to make them hang down to the same level. The curtain rods are at different levels you see .
The two hanging curtains in the living room are also hand embroidered; in the beginning of the 20th century. They have some faded bits, but I still like them very much. Both sets of curtains are from charity shops.

Now that I have moved the wash stand out to the balcony and taken apart and got rid of the broken book case the hall looked kind of empty. I wanted to keep my Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) scrolls on the wall as before, but I also wanted to hang one of my vintage hand woven textiles on the wall. All are from charity shops. One photo shows a pile of vintage wool textiles on the sofa.
Maja helped me take photos, and to choose. #vintagetextiles #sca
Lying in bed, looking at a lovely hand woven 1920s (or possibly early 30s) wall hanging that I couldn't resist at a charity shop, and which finally has found its place in the flat.
There are some smaller paintings on the wall too. Made by me and showing the godesses Aine and Diana, and the gods Dagda and Cernunnos.

Decorative "towels" hanging in from of the other towels on a rack with a shelf over was a Swedish thing in the 20th century, up to the 90s or so, in rural areas.
I use them still, and I just might have too many.
No, who am I kidding.
Some I have made myself, some my mother have made, one is made by my sister @a.lena.e.svensson . And many are from charity shops.
The ones with embroidered text are referring to a popular film from 1932.

Not much, but I scrubbed the living room table and put on a new (to me) table cloth that I bought at Mölndals secondhand this week. Linen embroidered with cotton yarn. Probably 1950s, or possibly 1940s.
