Jaws - one of my favourite films, and my favourite scene from it.
"It had to have been the Japanese," opines one sailor, on the subject of who might have sunk their US Navy cruiser in the Pacific Theater in 1945.
The "shark" special effects are almost as bad as the paper mache from Jaws.
At one point, during an extremely-overdone foreshadowing sequence, a couple of characters come to ask another one how dangerous sharks are, and they brought along a FULL PAGE COLOR PHOTOGRAPH OF A GREAT WHITE SHARK that I guess they found lying around somewhere, just in case he didn't know what they meant by "sharks" I guess.
