UK government want to make porn shameful, hard and expensive , because it doesn't fit it's morals.

Next step, put you ID to have Internet connection.

#UKPornBlock (7) It's just another way for the UK government to surveil and control their citizens. The ways that the gov could use this data are literally endless. Even if you're at one end or the other I'm sure you wouldn't want your data to be profiled and kept so someone knows more about you.

#UKPornBlock (5) The risk of censorship. The BBFC which are the people that decide which movies you can watch at what age are the ones in charge of censoring. They're a 106 year old censor and also not a digital entity!

One company working on a solution it's called 'Mindgeek' they have develop something called 'Age ID' it's basically a paywall for age, for a fee sells this to other companies and they expect to verify 25 million users in the first month, what they don't say anywhere it's that they the owners of Pornhub, Redtube and Youporn, which are the biggest sites out there!

#UKPornBlock (2) It will encourage illegal behaviour. It will only put people in front to more dangerous, illegal and extreme content that could be found on the dark net or web pages filled with malware and creepy subreddits. This only drives illegal behaviour underground making it a whole lot doggier than it was on the first place.

#UKPornBlock (1) Just simply won't work, there are literally million of porn websites, unless you create a gov version of the 'nipple ban' of Facebook and Instagram or implement the Great Firewall of the UK this just simply won't work. You'll need to ban VPN's and proxies. To be clear, this is an awful idea. You would say, it doesn't matter if we catch most people, right? This will generate other consequences.

Have any of you heard of the latest greatest idea of the UK government? It's called 'Porn Block' and the aim it's to block any pornographic content on the internet and making you identify to be able to watch it. Some of you might agree or disagree with me on this being a bad idea but the fact is that this will hurt so many other things.
