There is a tea that this Chinese restaurant (operated by Korean-Americans) served with every meal when I was a kid. We couldn't afford pop ("soda") but tea came with the $5 lunch special.

I wish I knew what kind. It's probably something profoundly mundane, but nothing I've tried has ever been right.

The restaurant has long since closed.
