Good afternoon.
I have been #Curling this afternoon- not a sport I ever imagined I would end up practising until I moved to #Scotland two years ago. I am not playing competitively but there is a club here in #Ayr called the Disnae club- disnae matter if you are any good or not. It is very technical and I am not sure if I will ever get "line and length" right at the same time but very friendly and good fun. If you can, #TryCurling

@pandora @fitheach @athairbirb @wizardofosmium outdoor no, as others have said the climate is mostly too warm these days-on the odd occasion it gets cold enough, H&S stop it happening. Indoor #curling is still played but despite having successful national teams doesn’t get main stream publicity.
It’s a brilliant sport for all ages and abilities though and sociable! For those in Scotland there are #trycurling sessions as well as beginners at most rinks.
