Not every #TrenchCrusade #miniatures is amazing. This is a Butcher Knight from their latest subfaction, the Great Hunger. I had to stare at this unit for quite a while, I didn’t know what I was looking at.
Figured it out after a while, three mushed heads and a big maw on the shoulder. Also has earthworms coming out of its flesh because it’s been in the ground for months. And let’s add a couple corpses on the back, because reasons.
Fortunately the rest of the subfaction units look much better.

<That name is quite the mouthfull>
The last member of my Black Grail warband, the Amalgam.
It’s what you get when the remains of a battle are mashed together.
Not only is the Black Grail’s Lord of Tumours an awesome miniature, but the addition of his two Devoters is just <chef’s kiss>.
Glug glug glug!
For my second Herald of Beelzebud, I tried something different, black/dark with green sores. It was a disaster, none of the flesh structures were visible. Managed to save it with an ocre drybrush.
The Black Grail’s Herald of Beelzebub.
Do I leave it as is, or does it need gloss varnish to look extra-slimy?
I just love painting thralls, they are so gross!
