Spent a few hours at a small demonstration today. Pride flags and trans signs and chalk art. Glad to get out for #TransDayOfVisibilty even if it was too cold to wear what I wanted :p

Heute ist #TransDayOfVisibilty.. Ich habe ein paar Transpersonen (sollte das so falsch sein, seht es mir bitte nach) in meiner TL. Und lese so viel Angst in ihren Posts sich zu zeigen. Das macht mich traurig und wütend! In erster Linie ist jeder Mensch und sollte menschlich behandelt werden! /2

I love seeing my community come together to support the marginalized. In a perfect world, it would have been a bigger crowd, but that there was a crowd was good. That we could be in the center of downtown for two hours and only one person yelled an obscenity as they drove by was good.

That my 11 y/o could see love and joy and solidarity demonstrated amongst queer and trans and nonbinary people was very very good.

And the art was beautiful.
