In light of recent extreme heat warnings, the Lower Cliff Dwelling Trail may close if temperatures exceed 105°F; however, the Visitor Center will maintain regular hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Upper Cliff Dwelling Tours Now Available!

Tonto National Monument announces the 2026 Upper Cliff Dwelling Tours are now available! Reservations for the tours begin Thursday January 15, 2026 @ 8:00 A.M. Please call the park, 928-467-2241, to make a reservation. The tour schedule for this year will be every Saturday & Sunday starting on Saturday February 7 & ending on Sunday May 3. (1/2)

Due to the trail being steep of 12 percent grade, all visitors wishing to hike the Lower Cliff Dwelling Trail must bring a water bottle with them. No Exceptions.

Starting on Wednesday, October 1st, we will be taking Phone-only reservations for our ranger led tours. Reservations made before October 1st will not be accepted. Please call (928) 467-2241 to reserve your spot.
