I saw someone posting here about some #tilde servers being down, but I didn't pay much attention until I realized I couldn't access #tildegit today. Does anyone know what's up?
What license is best for a 'do as thou wilt' quick script published on #tildegit please? MIT, one of the BSD licenses?

It would be really awesome if we could have a federated network of #gitea repositories. In this hypothetical context, if I usually work on @Codeberg but want to search, mark as favorite or contribute to a repository on #tildegit, part of the @tildeverse, I could do it.

We could participate from our #git platforms based on Gitea without having to have an account on each git platform nor moving them to report or wahtever.

Is it an impossible dream? Maybe someday?

Could have done this in bash? Maybe. Are there tools that does this already? Also maybe. Was this fun to do? Oh you bet.

I tried this on #tildeclub and it worked* but other users couldn't access it. I'll be trying it out on cafe later. This is a sample that I made https://tilde.club/~chickfilla/tildebin/chickfilla/

@IceWolf Yeah, I dropped GitHub[*] when it got bought by Microsoft. Went to gitlab.com., but then it died in privacy stuff. Currently considering #tildegit, and now, I guess, #Codeberg X3
