miyo ♡one of my favorite space theories is the idea of a theoretical planet called theia. the theory is that around 4.5 billion years ago, when the earth was still a magmatic planet; theia collided with the earth, its remains eventually creating the moon. its theorized that the moon actually formed rather quickly, some saying it ranged from a few months to years, and others saying it formed immediately after.
