iQ Granit and iQ Eminent vinyl surfaces by Tarkett

Dezeen Showroom: flooring brand Tarkett has updated its iQ Granit and iQ Eminent vinyl designs to be hard-wearing in interiors with high foot traffic.

The vinyl surfaces are available in four complimentary colour schemes that can be used on walls and floors to create harmonious spaces.

"The palettes are carefully designed to seamlessly melt together in harmony, from yellow tones combined with warm beige neutrals to blue tones complimented by black and cold greys, to ensure creative freedom and inclusive design for interiors," said Tarkett.

The vinyl was designed for busy spaces such as the workplace, hospitals and educational facilities

iQ Eminent mimics the surface of polished natural stone and iQ Granit has a subtle directional pattern that is intended to add warmth and texture to interior spaces.

The vinyl was designed for busy spaces such as the workplace, hospitals and educational facilities.

"iQ products' compact composition has a strength and longevity capable of withstanding the toughest conditions and demanding cleaning and disinfection protocol, which is one of the reasons it's often found in high wear locations," said the brand.

The iQ Granit and iQ Eminent collections are recyclable and designed to last at least 30 years

Tarkett has also created enhanced iQ Granit and iQ Eminent options that provide acoustic solutions and slip resistance.

iQ Granit Acoustic reduces noise levels to ensure better working conditions, while Granit Safe T and Granit Multisafe have non-slip surfaces that increase safety in wet areas.

The iQ Granit and iQ Eminent collections are recyclable and designed to last at least 30 years.

"iQ Granit and iQ Eminent are produced in Tarkett's Ronneby plant where 100 per cent of the energy consumption comes from renewable energies," said the brand.

"The production works with 99.5 per cent closed-loop water and generates zero per cent waste to landfill."

iD Inspiration vinyl flooring by Tarkett

Dezeen Showroom: French brand Tarkett has launched a vinyl flooring collection called iD Inspiration that emulates natural materials such as wood and stone.

The iD Inspiration collection has been developed by Tarkett to "harness the power of nature to create feel-good interiors".

It is intended for use in hospitality, education, residential, retail and workplace interiors and suitable for areas with moderate to high footfall.

Tarkett's iD Inspiration flooring emulates natural materials

"Inspired by nature, iD Inspiration has been designed to improve wellbeing by deepening the connection between the outdoors and the interior spaces where people work, learn and care," Tarkett said.

The flooring takes the form of tiles and planks available in seven sizes and 100 different finishes.

The flooring takes the form of vinyl planks and tiles

Each plank or tile is digitally printed from scans of real woods and stone, meaning that natural grains, textures and imperfections are all replicated.

This production process also ensures there are no repeating motifs or patterns in any 12 square metres of flooring, which helps to achieve a more realistic look.

It is suitable for spaces with high footfall

The iD Inspiration collection is designed to be quick and easy to install using adhesives. A "click system" is also available on selected designs.

The flooring is finished with Tarkett's Tektanium polyurethane coating, ensuing resistance to scratches and stains while providing a matt finish.
