Part of our work is raising awareness of the plight of displaced people and promoting empathy and understanding.
Today we were extremely happy to welcome a group of high school students from the USA.
Eric gave them lots of information and answered their questions.
They had time to chat with the community volunteers at the hope project.
We talked about the situation here and what's happened over the last few years.
We talked about dignity, empowerment, and how everyone can make a difference in this world. Especially in your own community, a kind word, and an ear to listen is where to begin.
Together we are stronger.
