The dry stone wall is located in a remote area that I can only reach with a wheelbarrow. For the heavy stones, I needed some help from my brother to brake/hold the wheelbarrow and to lift/align the stones.
The pile of stones is full of life. I leave them alone most of the time. I’ve seen grass frogs inside the wall joints several times.

A little detour to our field/meadow. I started to built this remote dry stone wall or pile (whatever you call it) like five years ago, and added and aligned some stones over the last years.
It has become a habitat, and shrubs have settled above the wall in recent years. But I haven't finished it yet. I need to gather the right stones for that.

Summer 2022: '#Stone Stairway'. I needed some space in the stable so I gathered and stacked some #stones to have a better overview for later construction or renovation purposes. Some larger #rocks at the base are from our meadow nearby.
