We had a cat, an all-black half-Siamese who could see things humans could not, or even other cats couldn't. She would watch blank walls and corners where there was nothing but stationary shadows, sometimes even talk to (or about?) what she was watching.

I've always wondered what she was perceiving that we couldn't, and what kind of reality it existed in...
