Access to finance for smaller farms in the EU
The European Commission – Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI), in partnership with the European Investment Bank, is pleased to invite you to participate to the conference ‘Access to finance for smaller farms in the EU’, taking place on Tuesday, 17 May 2022, from 9.20 until 13.30, in Brussels and online. Access to finance is one of the most important obstacles that smaller farms in the EU are facing. The conference, which will be opened by Mihail Dumitru, Deputy Director-General, DG AGRI, European Commission and Roger Havenith, Deputy Chief Executive, European Investment Fund, will focus on the support available for smaller farms under the common agricultural policy (CAP), including through EAFRD financial instruments and microfinance schemes.
