@RussSharek and [email protected] are good people to ask, according to Trunk;

I'd also ask @peterdrake, @yaxu, @DToher, and maybe @chestas.
In my quest to build more fun little fidgetty things I have just suffered peril.
Following the Weavers of Eternity tutorial for chetki (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqegEO4y4Hc) and I was like, yeah this feels pretty easy as a bodge.
Get to the end and the guys like "now tie a little diamond knot" and like... 0.75mm ish nano-cord, that's plain black, diamond knot, that has to be in the right place to maintain pressure? Ouch, I felt the will to live exit my body.
Managed it just.
I absolutely love receiving messages like this, and I'm happy to see friends from the #yoyo community dipping their toes into the fediverse!
In this message, @motmot is asking if there good for yo-yoers, so I thought I'd ask for suggestions. Any #skilltoy or #juggling themed Mastodon servers out there for him to check out?
This week I got a cheap POM knuckle roller (Knuckle bone seems to be the trademarked by Aroundsquare in 2017) to fidget with from the UK outfit Skilltoyz for like £10.
So far very impressed, much more tactile and immediate than Begleri for me, more ability to get used as a worry stone or fidget as well as a skill toy. Not much/scattered community but a good handful of instructional youtube vids and also very learn to do stuff by playing.

I hope this embeds. Here’s a yoyo trick performed on one of my own designs, which has pointy tips for spinning on top of things like a… top.
