One of the rare occasions I got to merge two of my passions (scroll to catch a glimpse of Shabba the Bahamian Husky doing his best Dire Wolf impression.)

Though Game of Thrones as a show fell out of my favor, I will always have a deep appreciation for this character and the writers that allowed her to be everything she was. The world too often silences and reduces Little Girls. I remember always being told growing up that I was too young to have the opinions I held, to feel the depth of what I claimed to feel, and chastised for speaking up because girls "should be seen and not heard". 🙄

I'm glad I never listened.

You never forget your first!

Misty was my first Cosplay as a suggestion from the first Cosplayer I ever befriended: Sassyblackfeline! The bike was borrowed from my best friend from highschool as a reference to the Pokemon anime's storyline involving Ash destroying and eventually replacing Misty's bike.

Misty and Sabrina remain my favorite Gym Leaders from the Kanto region! One day I'll have to tackle a Sabrina Cosplay.
