Because Benji's arthritis is getting worse, and he'll do anything to avoid having his pain meds including starving himself for hours* (also they aren't great as he has early-stage kidney issues), I've agreed to try a novel pain injection. Every 4 weeks there will be a bill for the meds plus the vet.
Trialling it for 3+ months. If it really helps his mobility I may have to resort to crowdfunding it later on, but for now, I can manage.
* the usual meds have to be given after a meal every 24hrs, two days in and he wouldn't eat breakfast for a few hours, 4 days in just he'd snack at some random time in the afternoon.
