Only a couple of hours after the previous photo I posted, Mr Swayze was awake, alert, and viewing with concern various outdoor cats daring to sully his view with their presence. (The most recent one had wandered off before I got the shot, though Mr Swayze continued to keep watch.)

Not recorded: Mr Swayze's faint snore/purr as he naps in the relative cool of the day. We have returned to overcast and "Oregon sunshine" drizzle after yet another bout of heat wave, and I for one am glad.

Dieses fast unsichtbare Tier auf der Treppe heißt Brady. Er ist 12 Jahre alt und seit 7 Jahren bei uns, er wurde von privat abgegeben.
In seinem alten Impfpass steht, er wäre ein Maine Coon, aber dazu hat er zu kurze Beine und einen zu kurzen Schwanz - wohl eher ein Mischling. Vielleicht mit einem Dackel 😬, das würde auch seinen Charakter erklären.
Mehr Hund als Katze, deutlicher Anteil Kasper, viel Unsinn im Kopf. Außerdem tiefenentspannt. Und Hausmeister.
Das findet frau, wenn sie morgens den Vorhang zurückzieht, um die Tür zu schließen, bevors warm wird :)
Der graue Kater muss nachher zum Tierarzt zur Zahnsteinentfernung.
Die Transportkiste steht bereit und löst bisher kein großes Mißtrauen bei ihm aus (sie steht immer ohne obere Schale als Schlafplatz rum, wir haben sie also nur geschlossen).
Das größte zu erwartende Problem beim späteren Eintüten des Grauen?
Den Roten aus der Kiste kriegen…
