So, someone tried to scam me, and it was a pretty interesting and targeted setup.

The scammed tried to impersonate the artist I got my new profile picture from. They seemed quite eager to do more work with me. At the time, I fobbed them off, saying I didn't have money or a project, but they were quite pushy on the subject.

Two weeks go by, and every few days, they keep messaging me, asking if I was there, etc.

Things got weird when I said I am thinking about having another piece done like the one they did previously, which was priced at about £40, but they said if my budget could be $100 for extra quality.

They said I could pay via PayPal and make sure I pick the recipient to be Friend or Family. The email they gave me for PayPal didn't match what I would assume someone from Indonesia would have.

Eventually, suspicion peaked, and I emailed the artist directly on Fiverr, and they confirmed my suspicions.
