Cars and trucks have gotten really expensive since the COVID pandemic. The California State Legislature is about to make buying a car even more costly. There's a bill, SB 791, that will allow car dealers to charge up to $350 in doc fees (currently $85 max). It's a cash grab by car dealers.

🚨 #California Senate will vote soon on SB791, authored by #SanJose Sen. Dave Cortese, to increase the amount car dealers including #TESLA can charge new and used car buyers for "doc fees" from $85 to a max of $500. We're OPPOSED. #ELON #TESLATAKEDOWN @realdanodowd.bsky.social
