Years ago i crashed a tablet computer at work, so i needed a new one, which i don`t want to break again.
So there needed to be a better, more rugged protective cover to use this thing at construction sites and while doing customer service.
The real problem is, you have other things in your hands, and this thing need to be transported too, and you dont want to go again to get this only. This is the situation such things falling down and break.
So i came up with a cover made from wood, especially the wooden parts from cable rolls.
I was not sure if this is a great idea, but made it anyways with my cnc mill.
Its made of 2 layers, with a pocket inside for the hardware, and milled out screen hole and thin parts to reach to the buttons and have holes for speakers and charger connector.
