Had a nice time on the #Roobaix this year. The weather was better than last year (though it drizzled for most of the day).

I had a couple of sketchy moments but overall was a great ride. I'm going to sleep well tonight though.

So I survived my first #melburn #roobaix and it was quite fun. A few sketchy bits (uphill laneway that was muddy sludge) but for the most part a lot easier than I expected. We did the course fairly quickly and averaged 13kph.

I did quite enjoy the people who opened up their garages to cheer riders on down the laneways. Would do again.

Sadly I think my phone might be a bit wrecked from sitting on my handlebars in the rain. Doh. Currently sitting in some rice because hope Springs eternal.

It's not as cold as I worried it would be so far and the rain hasn't .... Oh scratch that it just started.
