Lancashire's Liam Livingstone may not quite be Brutus to Rob Key's Julius Caesar but he's certainly given Key and Brendon McCullum a kick somewhere painful, if not a knife in the back.

IMO neither Key nor McCullum warrant continuing in their positions. It's time for the Bazball ride and the Key-McCullum favouritism and cloying smugness to come to an end.

Each set up has a sell by date, after which the brand, the team, the attitude, the selection rationale is no longer lovable.

That time has come.
