Sean 📝Day 2 and I’m 10/12 episodes through #CanThisLoveBeTranslated. I think my expectations were too high, but it’s still an enjoyable show, largely thanks to the unexpected story choices made.
Also the editing reminds me of #RecordOfYouth, not in a good way.

Oh, a lot of my watching is quite random. NF told me to watch #RecordOfYouth so I did and enjoyed it. #ParkBoGum did a great job in his role as a breakout star. Now, they're telling me to watch #SomethingInTheRain and when I checked it out I see that #JungHaeIn and SonYeJin are both in it. Both are favourites of mine so I expect I'll continue. Meanwhile, my #PlanToWatch list keeps growing!

Completed #RecordOfYouth and I really enjoyed it! Although romance was part of the show, the focus was really on Park Bo Gum's character and his circle of friends as they move from their 20s towards their 30s, increasingly gaining independence from their parents. There were a lot of good lines about relationships. It portrayed "star" life in South Korea in all of its brutality.

I rated #RecordOfYouth as a 6.5 (really low for me). I remember getting mad at the possessiveness and backwater (to me) mentality that women can not and should not be friends with men if they are not in a romantic or familial relationship with them. I forget what all went on, but there was a pair of shoes, I think? And couple-outfits? I really like Park So-Dam, too.
Which isn't to say it wasn't well done. I don't remember that much. I just know I was mad at it. #kdrama

Dope Old Person#kdrama #shewouldneverknow episode 6 is leaving me many random plot questions. However, the funniest thing is perfectly beautiful actors/ idols made over with makeup to look wonderful (ditto #RecordOfYouth)
So: watched Michael Jackson Bad video + clips from West Side Story, then back to Standing Next to You ( ear worming) then dinner, then #Suchwita ah 💜 then last episode #kdrama #RecordOfYouth - I enjoyed all of that, even the ending was successful, no dull drawn out midway points PLUS if u r #BTS #army it's a reminder that Life Goes On after military service. Also read bad Guardian review of Golden that suggests BTS won't get back together, but was flawed in other ways ( re Festa hiatus Busan)
