Follow-up #ReaderQuestion, separate but related: how soon do you feel you can really ENJOY rereading a book you loved?

When I was 11, the answer was "the same day." Now it's still under a year, although I don't do that often because SO MANY BOOKS IN THE WORLD.

Okay, here's my #ReaderQuestion of the day:

At what point or with what criteria do you determine that you read a book too long ago to be a useful source of information about it?

For example: I plowed through Anna Karenina when I was 12, Les Miserables when I was 13. And not since. At this point if I read them, I promise they will NOT feel like rereads.

#readerquestion: "Who is Jane?"

Jane was a girl in my class, and so far she has complained about her bottom and tried to become a carnival queen.

She was probably not really named Jane: I have changed (most of) the names in this blog to protect the innocent and the not-so-innocent.

I always appreciate questions, or feedback of any kind.
