@dis The ESP would be my choice ($8-17 for a single pi zero, ~$5 for an esp/$15 for a 3 pack) but there's also an added complexity of communication to the UPS itself. USB? RS232? Etc.

If I weren't already capturing the data from SNMP using an eth. module on the UPS I'd be all about it.

Though (as I think about it) it would be very useful to get some of the data to MQTT, that would permit some automation on loss of mains power.

I need to spin up #Prometheus, I've been following the project for years and have never had time to invest in setting up exporters/ingestion methods.
