I was 13 or so on the family computer and it would tie up the phone line and go weeeeooooowaaaa, and I would write down every geocities website I liked in my paper notebook so I could always go back and look at them later. The way we played with cluttered and ugly was so inspiring - it taught me i could irritate my mother by wearing stripes and dots together.
