I just wanted to make a funny post about how silly the proverb "You can't have your cake and eat it" is, because why else would I have a cake if not for eating. But I didn't fully remember the saying so I looked it up, only to find a Wikipedia entry for it, explaining how people are often confused by it, because of the same misunderstanding.
