Current state of #printingaprinter: Works great. Successfully converted a mendel into an i3 mk2 (ish) for way more z height. That was fun! Now what next? 3d printer hacking has been fun for 5 years..... #robotarms?

The i3 top on a mendel bottom idea didn't work very well. Quite wobbly, so I printed a new bottom to finish converting it the rest of the way to an i3. #printingaprinter

Ok, so I'm exhausted, but after 36 hours I successfully bolted the top printed parts of a prusa i3 to the bottom of a mendel, and got it to print. Done #printingaprinter. Yay.

The z bottoms and x carriage front turned out fine. Now printing the z tops and the x carriage back. Pretty low on filament for the left printer so I spliced on some scraps. Should look sweeeeeet. #printingaprinter
