Does this pool light leak? Watch the dye and let me know what you think! #poolleakdetection #capecoral #ftmyers #swfl
This is a pool caretaker, which is a return positioned on the floor, to ideally keep the floor clean by forcing debris to the main drain. You can see the small crack that leaks but what is harder to see is the whole rim leaks (green dye is a horrible choice for white fittings 😅) #poolleakdetection
A leak located in the step's grout line. Small leaks like this can costs hundreds of dollars in water. Typically when there is one leak like this, there are a few more around the same area. #poolleak #poolleakdetection #capecoral #fortmyers #leakdetectioncapecoral
A 9' vertical crack caused by a leak above it at the spa spillway. Years of water behind the pool finish eventually created and expanded the crack. Epoxying cracks like this rarely works—hydrostatic pressure can force holes through the epoxy, sometimes in as little as 24 hours. #poolleakdetection
While searching for leaks we often run into other issues. Here we have a metal light ring with electrolysis (galvanic corrosion). This is due to the light not being properly bonded. The light will slowly begin to rebuild this soot-like substance over time. #CapeCoral #PoolLeakDetection #SWFL
This previously epoxied pool finish crack opened back up. This was a 7' vertical crack. With cracks this large, epoxy is likely to fail quickly. The pool needs to be stapled back together. #poolleak #poolleakdetection #capecoral #leakdetection #dyetest
Found a needle in this pool. Turns out this pool had a leak in it where the main drain cover was missing! Give us a call if you have a leak in Cape Coral, Fort Myers or other surrounding areas in SWFL! #poolleak #swimmingpoolleak #leakdetection #poolleakdetection
Do you see how far away the needle is from this leak but still pulls the dye inside? This is because the main drain at the bottom of the pool has more hydrostatic pressure. This pressure exacurbates the leak. Most leaks do not pull dye this far away from the needle! #PoolLeakDetection #CapeCoral
