Was könnte das für ein Baum sein? Es war ein noch relativ junger Baum, den jemand gefällt hatte. Glatte Borke, Standort ist Norddeutschland. Meine Recherche sagt, es könnte ein Holzapfel (Malus sylvestris) sein?

What are these plants called? Their flowers are very fragrant but their branches are covered in murderous spikes. And their fruits’ colour and general appearance convey such a notion of toxicity, I feel nauseous just by looking at them. #botany #plants #plantlife #plantrecognition
