PiShock has the worst UI and docs i've seen on an IoT product yet, and i'm not exaggerating, and i've seen a lot of C-tier IoT shit 🤦‍♀️

i don't want to join the Discord, i don't want to watch a video that blazes through firmware update steps in like 20 seconds, mentions a site that appears to be the site i am already on, and tells me to join the Discord, i don't care about most of the software features, i but i do want to learn how to turn the shocker device proper off, and good luck finding that once you've been past the obtuse setup flow.

i also do want a native app with local controls, not some cloud shit. i knew this was an issue before i bought it and yes i have heard of OpenShock but will not be addressing this today.

the core hardware functions fine though. it definitely shocked me. also jfc apparently i have thin skin because a 1% shock is absolutely noticeable ⚡️
