Tragic news for San Francisco and the arts -- Pier 24 was one of the finest pure photography experiences I ever encountered. Just nothing like it on the west coast, and every time I went there I learned something.

I still remember the first show I went to there with @djm in 2013; just astonishing to have so much great work in one place.

I hope the municipal authority in charge of rents knows what they're going to lose.
