Is there an app where I can paste in some Irish text and have it phoneticised for anglophones? This is to help non-Irish people learn to pronounce the words of a song. (I know that Myles na gCopaleen satirised the practice by doing the reverse.)

So far, i’ve found that the 1981 introductory price for the Votrax type-n-talk (is tnt) was $375, in Apple Orchard from 1981. And they did full page adverts in some magazines, including this one from Apple Orchard, now at $345 + $4 shipping, $349.
As you can see, it looks pretty nice. You connect it to an external speaker and to the computer using a serial cable (rs232). Wanted one, but definitely couldnt afford it & used SAM instead
